childbirth educators, and those are recommendations I pay attention to!
Baby & Mom Pre-Natal Yoga led by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa Gurmukh is "Yogi to the Stars" and has put together a very gentle, very effective
pregnancy yoga video. I highly recommend it as a supplement to your prenatal fitness routine!

Is Born by Lennart Nilsson Beautiful photographs of a growing baby! I
found this book a helpful tool when trying to explain my second pregnancy to my
first child.

Complete Prenatal Water Workout Book by Helga Hughes I haven't read this
book, but I know from personal experience that exercising in the water during
pregnancy is absolutely wonderful!

I had the opportunity to participate in a round-table discussion with her, and
her approach to pregnant women and babies is so gentle and caring. This book
contains some wonderful exercises and stress-busters for pregnant women.

Through Your Pregnancy by James Clapp, MD (past Book of the
Month) James Clapp is THE researcher on maternal fitness. This book
is must have for those of you who want the latest information on what's safe to
do, exercise-wise, throughout your pregnancy.
Expecting
Fitness by Birgitta Gallo
Written by a highly-qualified personal trainer, this book will teach you how to modify your current exercise
program to accomodate your pregnancy as well as give alternative exercises for women on bedrest or restricted
activity.

Fitness by Julie Tupler & Andrea Thompson I haven't read this book,
but I know that Julie Tupler runs a very popular prenatal fitness program in the
New York area.

Natural Pregnancy Book by Aviva Jill Romm My relationship with Aviva is
strictly an online one, but she is a wonderful childbirth educator and has
incredible knowledge to impart.
Positive
Pregnancy Fitness by Sylvia Klein Olkin Sylvia is another prenatal
fitness guru. She publishes a newsletter and holds certification workshops for
prenatal fitness instructors.
The
Pregnancy Book: A Month-By-Month Guide by William Sears, MD & Martha
Sears, RN (past Book of the Month) This is the latest book by
pregnancy and parenting experts, William and Martha Sears. The Sears' approach
is a gentle one which respects both the parents and the baby-to-be.

Month) This book was another of my bedside bibles! I highly recommend
it!

Fitness by the editors of Fitness Magazine (past Book of the
Month) Fitness Magazine has long been one of my favorite sources for
staying in shape and eating a healthy diet. Now, the editors of this fabulous
publication have written a book for pregnant women who want to know how to stay
in shape, safely. While I haven't read this book, yet, I plan to add it to my
library and encourage you to do the same!

Pregnancy Journal by A. Christine Harris, PhD (past Book of the
Month) What a great way to learn day-by-day how your growing baby is
developing and to journal your feelings about what's happening inside your body!
And, what a wonderful keepsake to have for years to come!

the Month) Susun Weed has an incredible amount of knowledge regarding
herbal remedies during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I put many of her
suggestions to the test during my 3rd pregnancy, with great success I might
add!
